Semester break hours

BUILDING LOCATION MAP

Drop in to check out a book or DVD, use our scale and blood pressure machine, or just pick up free condoms.

Our lending library houses hundreds of credible and up-to-date books, CDs, DVDs, posters, and other media related to physical and emotional wellness. Most items can be checked out with a valid UT student ID.

You can also pick up any of a huge variety of free handouts and brochures on health issues that college students often encounter. Many items are available in quantity for students who are planning educational presentations.

Our knowledgeable staff can assist you with

Lending Library Policies

  • Only currently-enrolled students may borrow materials from the UHS Lending Library.
  • The check-out period for materials borrowed from the UHS Lending Library is two weeks.
  • Limit one renewal per item for two more weeks. Items reserved for other students must be returned by the due date.
  • Items must be returned to SSB 1.106 during regular business hours, not to any other library or office. There is no after-hours book drop.
  • Materials that are returned damaged or more than 14 days late will be billed to the student's "What I Owe" page at $50.00 per item. If an item from the Lending Library is damaged while in your possession, contact the UHS Health Promotion Resource Center manager immediately by calling (512)475-8252.

Lending Library Semester Break Hours - Summer 2008
Closed Saturday and Sunday
May 12th summer hours begin
May 14th - Staff development day, hours 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
May 15th - Organization day, hours 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
May 16th - provider breakfast, hours 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
May 26th closed for memorial day
