Optimizing Your Potential: the Mind-Body Connection
Practice and experience a comprehensive set of mindfulness-based stress management and self care skills, and learn to change your thoughts so they can help you. This intensive class teaches mindful living skills including meditation, yoga, and mindful eating. By learning to pay more attention to your life, you can begin to live with more balance and clarity.

Not interested in a class?
University Health Services and the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center offers additional resources for stress management. The Counseling and Mental Health Center provides workshops on relaxation skills training, time management, and other forms of stress reduction to groups of students, faculty, and staff. To request a workshop, contact Dr. Laura Ebady, CMHC Outreach Coordinator, at (512) 475-6911.
Mindfulness Meditation Group
UT students and staff with meditation experience or interest in learning meditation can drop in to this group. It meets at the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center on the 5th floor of the SSB. No registration necessary.

MindBody Lab
Unwind at the MindBody Lab, a self-paced relaxation and biofeedback lab where UT students learn and practice stress management exercises and guided meditation using audio tracks in a calm, quiet setting.
The Lab is open Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm in the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center, SSB 5th floor. No appointment necessary. UT ID required.
