You don't have to leave campus for lab work. The UHS Laboratory can perform a wide variety of diagnostic tests.

To have lab work done, you need an order from a healthcare provider. If a UHS provider asks you to get lab work, he or she will give you instructions including how to prepare, if necessary.

Charges apply for lab work.

Off-campus healthcare providers can either give you a written order for lab work or fax it directly to the UHS Lab. Results will be sent to the provider who ordered them, so be sure to have the correct spelling of your doctor's name and their current address, phone number, and fax number.

If you think your lab work requires special preparation or dietary restrictions, call the lab in advance for instructions.

September 1 closed for Labor Day Holiday
November 27 - 30 closed for Thanksgiving Holiday
December 17 closed
December 22 - 31 closed for Winter Break
