24-Hour Nurse Advice Line

The UHS Nurse Advice Line is staffed 24 hours a day, every day of the year. When you are ill or injured, you can call for advice about taking care of yourself at home. We can also help you determine whether your condition should be evaluated when Urgent Care reopens, a regular appointment at UHS is most appropriate, or if you should be seen at another healthcare facility or emergency room.

The UHS Nurse Advice Line is only available to students at The University of Texas at Austin who are currently taking classes or who were registered for the immediately preceding semester.

If your illness or injury is potentially life-threatening or severe, call 911 or go to a hospital emergency room.
