Alcohol Education Program for Minors
(MIP Class)
The 6-hour Alcohol Education Program for Minors (MIP class) satisfies the educational requirement associated with MIP, MIC, PI, and DUI citations and court-ordered alcohol education for minors in the State of Texas. If a judge or attorney has asked you to complete an alcohol education class, the MIP class is appropriate for you.
MIP classes at UT are available to currently-enrolled UT students only. If you are not a UT student, or if our class schedule does not meet your needs, click the link below for other MIP class providers in Austin.
Come by our office (SSB 1.106) to sign up for an MIP class or call 475-8252 for more information. Charges are involved. No referral necessary. Class size is limited, and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
