Gulielma Leonard Fager, MPH
Health Education Coordinator Generalist
Gulielma goes by "Guli." She coordinates education and prevention activities primarily in sexual health, but also in other areas of health promotion. Guli completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia in Latin American and African American Studies and her master's degree in public health at Columbia University where she did research on the health effects of abstinence-only education. She also had a marketing fellowship with Church & Dwight (the makers of Trojan brand condoms) in which she worked on a social marketing campaign to increase condom use. Guli has worked as an independent sexuality educator since June 2005, has written for GoAskAlice! and SexHearld.com, and helped to create web-based resources for the Kaiser Family Foundation to support HIV prevention.
Kevin "KP" Prince Ph.D
Alcohol & Other Drug Education Program Coordinator KP came from St. Edward's University where he was the Alcohol & Other Drug Education Director and Staff Psychologist. While at St. Edward's KP coordinated efforts in building a campus-wide substance abuse prevention program including a peer education program. "Working with college students always keeps me abreast of the latest and greatest happenings in music and movies from the underground, uptown, and out of this world." KP brings years of experience working in college settings and community agencies including multiple roles from a mentor/advisor to African American college men and an advisor for an Asian American sorority to a volunteer coordinator in East Atlanta. "I have enjoyed understanding how the spirit of people moves them to live toward wellness."
Amanda Buller, MS, RD, LD
Registered Dietitian Amanda received her undergraduate degree from Colorado State University with an emphasis on Nutrition and Fitness. She went on to earn her MS from Arizona State University. Amanda is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and works with UHS Nutrition Services. Prior to joining the UHS team, Amanda worked at an intensive in-patient eating disorder facility for 7 years and remains passionate about helping this population. She has also assisted with children's nutrition research while working at Baylor College of Medicine.
Laura Jones-Swann, M.Ed., LCDC
Alcohol and Drug Education Coordinator As coordinator for the Center for Students in Recovery, she works primarily with students who have made a commitment to total abstinence from alcohol and drugs and are working a program of recovery. Laura also teaches Principles of Recovery and Relapse Prevention in the School of Social Work. Energetic and passionate about her work, Laura is a long time friend of Bill W. and is committed to helping others. Her favorite thing about her job is to watch students put their lives back together.
