Getting a flu shot is more important than ever. Getting a flu shot can protect your and your fellow Longhorns. A flu shot can also prevent flu-related complications from using valuable medical resources needed by those with COVID-19 – a not yet vaccine-preventable illness.
All flu shots are being administered in the Texas Union Ballroom by appointment only.

Unfortunately, UHS cannot provide shots to UT retirees this year. We ask these individuals to schedule a flu shot elsewhere this year.
In addition to on-campus flu clinics, all employees with UT Select health insurance can also get the flu vaccine at any participating pharmacy or provider.

All charges, if applicable, will be posted to the student/faculty/staff members WIO.
UHS will provide quadrivalent, preservative (thimerosal)-free, latex-free flu vaccine. UHS will not administer either of the vaccines that are made specifically for people age 65 and older. We ask those with allergies to eggs or those who have had a severe reaction to a prior flu shot to get their flu shot from their healthcare provider. You can also contact the Forty Acres Pharmacy to ask about flu vaccine for those age 65 and older or with an egg allergy.
