PROGRAM UPDATES

Updates about safer sex supply availability for the Fall 2021 semester will be published on this page.

How to Get Free Condoms

When used consistently and correctly, condoms are 98% effective at preventing pregnancy. Condoms are also the only way, besides choosing not to have sex, to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections. Click here to learn more about how to use condoms and dental dams (and why they're effective).

The Longhorn Wellness Center offers a variety of free and low-cost ways for UT students to get condoms conveniently and reliably:

Condom Distribution

Free condoms, internal condoms, and dental dams are available at the Longhorn Wellness Center and the Gender and Sexuality Center.

Free condoms are available at the Center for Students in Recovery, the Multicultural Engagement Center, and the Sanger Learning Center.

Play It Safe Post

Through Play It Safe Post, residents of all on-campus residence halls can request free condoms, internal condoms, and dental dams, delivered weekly in discreet envelopes. Request supplies just once, or come back every week and order more.

Safer Sex Ambassador

The The Safer Sex Ambassador program has resumed for Fall 2021.
