UT University Health Services

Parking at UHS

We know that parking on campus can be difficult. Consider these options instead of driving:

  • Take a UT shuttle. The West Campus (WC), Forty Acres (FA), and Far West (FW) shuttles all stop less than a block away.
  • Take a Capital Metro city bus. Many routes stop near at the SSB including 1, 3, 5, 21, 22, 801, 803, and some express routes. Try the online trip planner. Enter “Student Services Building” as the Ending (destination).
  • Car share services Zipcar and car2go both have vehicle stations within one block of the SSB.
  • Have a friend drop you off.

Parking options (charges apply)

  • 27th Street Garage (TSG) parking garage: enter on 27th St. directly north of the SSB.
  • Speedway Garage (SWG) parking garage north-east of the SSB: enter on Speedway.
  • City of Austin Pay-to-Park spaces on Dean Keeton, Wichita Ave., and University Ave. (Check pay stations for time limits.)
Patients at UHS can get up to one hour of free parking in the TSG or SWG garage. Pull a ticket when you enter the garage and bring it to the UHS appointments window or the Urgent Care Clinic for validation.

UT Parking and Transportation has lots of information on options for getting around.
