X-ray services are available on a walk-in basis. Appointments are not offered or required.

Appointments are required for ultrasound exams.

UHS has a state-of-the-art digital radiology center providing diagnostic x-rays and ultrasound exams on campus. To get a radiological exam, you need an order from a healthcare provider (like a prescription). Most exams require no special preparation. If yours does, your healthcare provider will explain what you need to do.

Ultrasound appointments must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the appointment or the patient will be charged $25.

If an off-campus doctor sends your radiology order to UHS, please call us before you come in to make sure we have received it.

We send results to the provider who ordered them, so be sure to have the correct spelling of your doctor's name, their current address, phone number, and fax number. Orders should include the date, types of x-rays or ultrasound needed, the doctor's signature, and your medical history related to your illness or injury.

While UHS does not provide MRIs, CT scans, bone scans, or mammograms, we can refer you to local facilities that do.
