Perrin Jones (pronouns: she/her) is a Counselor in the Counselors in Academic Residence (CARE) Program, which embeds mental health services within academic spaces to support students in achieving their academic and personal goals. Perrin provides clinical services specifically to students in the Moody College of Communication and is also available to consult with staff and offer prevention-focused services.
Areas of professional interest include treating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management and relationship concerns.
CARE Clinical Services
- Students can self-refer by attending office hours or be referred by faculty or staff.
- Perrin provides support through short-term counseling, referrals to other services, crisis intervention, and therapeutic groups.
Trainings and Workshops

- Topics include managing stress and anxiety, navigating academic pressure, and supporting students in distress.
