Healthy Student Organization Program

Are you a part of a student organization or group? The Healthy Student Organization Program (HSOP) is here to support you and your fellow members in laying the foundation for retaining happy, thriving and engaged individuals. HSOP recognizes your organization for implementing health-promoting activities that address social, intellectual, emotional, professional and physical well-being.

Meet with our team to write goals and devise strategies for your organization.

Information and resources available focused on health and wellness programming on and off campus.

Pillars of the Forty Acres

Receive points towards meeting distinguished or exemplary status for the Pillars of the Forty Acres Awards.

Recognition

Your organization can reach bronze, silver, or gold status based on the HSOP point system, and you'll be publicly recognized by the Austin City Council. We'll also showcase your organization across Healthyhorns social media accounts.

Community and Networking Opportunities

Social and educational meet-ups that offer you the opportunity to hear from other students in the program and collaborate with each other in implementing healthy activities all year long.
