Mental Health Ambassadors Program

Are you part of a student organization on campus? Do you want to be trained on how to talk about mental health and incorporate mental health promoting practices into your group? Then apply to be a Mental Health Ambassador!

This program helps student organization leaders facilitate conversations about mental health well-being in their own groups. These conversations help students learn about their own wellness, break down falsehoods about mental health, recognize the community of support around them, and understand the resources available on campus. Mental Health Ambassadors are also provided training on how to implement practices within their groups that enhance mental health.

How to Get Involved

Applications for the Mental Health Ambassador Program are available every fall semester. Up to two members of each student organization can apply and be accepted into the program. All student groups are welcome to apply, including Sorority and Fraternity Life chapters and graduate students.
