Diagnostic and reference laboratory testing.

• Lab tests require an order from a UHS or off-campus provider. (Off-campus providers should fax orders directly to the lab.) The lab operates on a walk-in basis after patients have received this order.
• Your provider will explain any preparations for your lab test(s). Call the lab if you have questions.
• If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 – schedule an appointment for a symptomatic COVID-19 test to be completed at least 36 hours prior to visiting the lab.
