In the UHS Gynecology Clinic, our physician’s assistant, certified nurse practitioners and registered nurses provide care by appointment. Welcoming any students with a need for gynecologic care.
Need help with gynecological care? We provide birth control prescriptions, IUD and implant counseling, STI testing and treatment, initial PrEP visits, urinary symptom evaluations and more.

Services Provided
- Routine annual wellness exams
- Contraception advice, prescriptions and administration (pill, shot, ring, IUD, implant, diaphragm, emergency contraception)
- Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, including HIV testing
- At UHS, we prioritize maintaining your confidentiality regarding your insurance usage, especially when it comes to STI testing. View your insurance and billing options. See a list of off-campus STI testing services.
- Care for menstrual concerns (cramps, irregular bleeding, PMS, other related problems)
- Abnormal pap evaluations, including colposcopies
- Pregnancy testing and referrals
- Breast and chest health assessments
- Evaluation and treatment of other common gynecological health concerns including vaginal infections and urinary tract infections
- Assistance with accessing Sexual Assault Medical Care and Forensic Evidence Collection.

STI Testing Self Referred Walk-Up
If you're not experiencing symptoms, you can walk up, choose your test(s) and provide a specimen. No provider appointment is required.
Visit Urgent Care (SSB 1.400) or the Gynecology Clinic (SSB 3.408), Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Your specimen will be processed by the UHS laboratory, and results will be sent to you electronically through your health portal.

Sensitive Health Exams and Procedures
UHS utilizes chaperones for all sensitive physical examinations, including breast, genital, rectum and adjacent areas, and sensitive ultrasounds. Patients can request a chaperone at any time. For more information view the Patient Guide to Sensitive Health Exams (PDF).
