Meet Your Care Team

In the UHS Gynecology Clinic, our physician’s assistant, certified nurse practitioners and registered nurses provide care by appointment. Welcoming any students with needs for gynecologic care.

EXTENDED TELEHEALTH HOURS

Need birth control refills, advice on or prescriptions for emergency contraception, asymptomatic STI testing, consultation for urinary tract symptoms, or guidance on intrauterine device (IUD) or Nexplanon insertions? We're here to help with our new extended telehealth hours.

You can book an appointment in the MyUHS/CMHC portal or call us at 512-475-8242. This is a convenient way to get the care you need without coming into the office.

Services Provided

  • Routine annual wellness exams
  • Contraception advice, prescriptions and administration (pill, shot, ring, IUD, implant, diaphragm, emergency contraception)
  • Symptomatic sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment, including HIV testing
  • Care for menstrual concerns (cramps, irregular bleeding, PMS, other related problems)
  • Abnormal pap evaluations, including colposcopies
  • Pregnancy testing and referrals
  • Breast and chest health assessments
  • Evaluation and treatment of other common gynecological health concerns including vaginal infections and urinary tract infections
  • Assistance with accessing Sexual Assault Medical Care and Forensic Evidence Collection.

Sensitive Health Exams

UHS utilizes chaperones for all sensitive physical exams and procedures, including the breast, genital, rectum and areas adjacent. Patients can request a chaperone at any time. For more information, view the Patient Guide to Sensitive Health Exams.
