Need mental health support on campus? Not in crisis but want to talk with a counselor? The Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC) now has a second location at the William C. Powers, Jr. Student Activity Center (WCP), offering easy access to clinical services.
Services Include
- Single-session counseling - meet with a counselor once to talk through a concern, get support, and leave with a plan and resources
- Online appointment scheduling for the current week
- Guidance on mental health and well-being resources
- Access to TimelyCare self-care resources
- Ability to reserve time at the MindBody Lounge (2nd floor of the WCP)
- Wellness activities for students who have appointments
- Ability to reserve a private room for telehealth appointments
How to access services
Stop by in person at WCP 1.102 or book online through the MyUHS/CMHC portal. Online appointments in the portal show availability for the current week only. If you don’t see a time at WCP that fits your schedule, call (512-471-3515, option #3) or visit CMHC at the Student Services Building (SSB), Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
