Single-Session Counseling
Sometimes you just need to talk something through. With single-session counseling, you can meet with a counselor to discuss a specific concern, get support and identify strategies or next steps.
You might talk about:
- Academic stress or test anxiety
- Feeling stressed or overwhelmed
- Roommate or relationship concerns
- Adjusting to college
- Managing emotions after a breakup
- Other personal concerns
Single-session counseling is designed as a one-time appointment. Your counselor can also help connect you with additional support if needed.
Schedule Online
You can schedule a single-session counseling appointment at CMHC @ WCP through the MyUHS/CMHC portal.
Don't see a date or time that works for you? Call CMHC at 512-471-3515, option 3, and we'll help you find another option.

Try guided meditation, journaling, puzzles, origami, fidget tools, tea and other activities designed to help you slow down and reset.
You can also reserve the MindBody Lounge or a private room for a telehealth appointment.
